Please accept my apologies if you receive this information more than once as some of you may be on more than one list.

I am very pleased to announce new and exciting events coming to Shakti Om Spiritual Center. Some gifted and talented folks are visiting (some from out of state) to impart their knowledge and gifts. It gives those of us in this area an opportunity to experience and learn from new people and share our gifts and knowledge as well.

Ceremony of Light with James Riverstone

• Saturday, July 25, 2009: Ceremony of Light with James Riverstone.

  We will gather and pray together through ancient processes, assembling our reality in the ritual of the 'Despacho', a sacred offering to Mother Earth and the Stars. There is a $20 per person fee for this event.

• We are scheduling individual two-hour healing sessions with James before the ceremony on the 25th, and on Sunday morning the 26th. Cost of an individual session is $100.

• Space is limited, so registration is required for the ceremony or the healing sessions.

Ancient Crystal Skull Synergy with Sherry Whitfield Merrell

• Friday and Saturday, August 7 and 8, 2009: Crystal Skull Presentation

  Here is your chance to experience “Synergy Energy!” You are invited to attend a Presentation about the Ancient Crystal Skull Synergy on August 7th or August 8th by caretaker Sherry Whitfield Merrell. All attendees will be allowed to touch Synergy! Cost is $45 per person (paid in advance at time of registration) or $55 per person (day of the event).

• Saturday and Sunday, August 8 and 9, 2009: We are scheduling private sittings/meditations with Sherry and Synergy. Cost is $50 per session. Please note - there are very few session still available.

• Registration is required.

Astrology Workshop with Maya White

• Friday, August 21, 2009: Astrology Workshop

  Maya White, Astrologer, of White Star Astrology and author of Easy Astrology Oracle Cards (published by Hay House) is presenting an Astrology Workshop from 6pm to 9pm. The workshop teaches how to use the Easy Astrology Oracle Cards so that you can do astrology readings for yourself or for your friends and family. There is a $40 per person fee for this workshop.

• Maya is also available for private Astrology Readings on Saturday, August 22. Cost is $125 per person.

• If you take the workshop and book a reading, the discounted cost for both is $140, a savings of $25.

• Space is limited, so registrations are required for the workshop or the readings.

Wednesday Drumming Circle

The Wednesday Drumming Circle that meets regularly has had a format change. Instead of a general spiritual focus, there will be a featured topic or event. These topics/events are now listed on the website so you can plan to attend those that you are particularly interested in. Of course, everyone is welcome to come to all Wednesday Circles. The standard fee remains a $10 donation, and if there is a special fee for an particular event, that will be listed on the website as well. Please check the website regularly to keep in touch with the latest information.

Upcoming events for Wednesday evenings:

• August 5, 2009: Journey & Meditation Night - Shamanic Journeying and some meditations. Bring drum/rattle and eyeshade if you have them.

• August 12, 2009: Tarot Play Night - No experience necessary. Under the guidance and teaching of Elaine Lilley from Celestial Light Tarot we will be doing Tarot Card Spreads and learning how to read them. It is a fun night and everyone will get a reading. There is a $15 per person fee for this event.

• August 19, 2009: Divination Play Night - Participants will practice different types of divination such as billet readings, energy readings etc.

• August 26, 2009: Sound Healing - We will work with voice, tuning forks and other instruments to learn their use for healing.

• September 2, 2009: Runes Night - Runes are an ancient set of symbols that are used both in divination and magick. There are several types of runes with different origins including Norse, Scandinavian and Germanic. Students will learn how to use runes and practice divination with them.

• September 9, 2009: Tarot Play Night - No experience necessary. • September 16, 2009: Rose Morris channels Istiphul, The Lady of the Lake - Rose Morris of Crystal Rose Healing Arts full-body channels Istiphul, The Lady of the Lake, who is an elemental being that helps with love issues and with healing. Each attendee will have the opportunity to ask at least one question and depending upon time, possibly two. There is a $20 per person fee for this event. Reservations are a must as space is limited.

• September 23, 2009: Journey & Meditation Night - Shamanic Journeying and some meditations. Bring drum/rattle and eyeshade if you have them.

• September 30, 2009: Crystal Singing Bowls - Brenda Colfer of Soundings will bring her Crystal Singing Bowls and lead us in a journey through the Chakras with the sound of the 7 crystal singing bowls. The second meditation is using positive affirmations supported by 10 bowls that are sounded to create beautiful harmonics. We end the evening sharing our voices as we tone the chakras together. There is a $25 per person fee for this event.

• October 7, 2009: Table Tipping - Table Tipping was first discovered and used by Spiritualists to contact deceased loved ones. It is physical phenomena of “Spirit” entering an object i.e. a table, and making it move to answer yes or no questions.
